Credits for MOOCs?

The Vice-President of Operations and Education of TU Delft, Anka Mulder, was interviewed by Times Higher Education on an important initiative to grant internationally-accepted credits for MOOCs. During the EdX Global Forum (8-10 November 2015), TU Delft put the discussion on the conference agenda by preparing a discussion document, together with the Australian National University, entitled: "Should we include MOOCs in our campus programmes and, if so, how do we do this?" Now six universities from around the world are exploring opportunities in this direction.

Anka stresses the importance of the topic in her blog, and invites all who are interested in the topic to join the Open Education seminar on March 10th, 14:00h, TU Delft campus.

As I mentioned before, offering credits for MOOCs is a big step for brick and mortar universities." - Anka Mulder

The seminar is part of the Open Education Week in Delft from 7-11 March. For more information and registration, please find the link on the side.
