Project HoloLearn at Leiden Delft Erasmus Center for Education and Learning along with The NewMedia Center at TU Delft started early this year with the objectives to provide the affordances of a physical classroom in an online lecture with the help of holograms. Project HoloLearn has made tangible progress, thanks to the LDE students' active involvement and contribution. Now, for the first time since its launch, the first early proof of concept is ready to be showcased. (See the video above).
The project will continue further development and research with more involvement of the students. Currently, we are also working with a teacher at TU Delft to implement and test the technology in an actual lecture.
