LDE-CEL attending RAPIDE Project meeting and Learning, Teaching and Training Event

LDE-CEL members Marcus Specht and Gillian Saunders-Smits are attending the third Learning, Teaching and Training event (LTT3) for the RAPIDE project (www.rapide-project.eu) this week at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. The LTT3 activity Let’s innovate support which will be held on April 27-28, 2022, has two goals: to provide teachers with hands-on training on supporting students in an online environment by use of learning analytics and to get feedback from teachers/participants on content, design and transferability of Intellectual Output 3 of the project and on training performance.

Planned learning outcomes of LTT3 activity are:

  • understanding the concept of supporting students in an online environment,
  • analyzing aspects in which learning analytics can be used in order to support students in learning and their teachers in facilitating students’ learning in an online environment,
  • analyzing different academic study fields and aligning it with appropriate dashboard models,
  • implementing dashboard models that support students in FC and WBL related activities in an online environment considering study and subject field and student background and needs and implement demonstration tool (dashboard app for open LMS).

In the meantime, LDE-CEL is working very hard on finalizing its deliverables for Intellectual Output 2 on Peer Assessment. Watch this space for the announcement of workshops and multiplier events so that you can all learn more about this fantastic project!
