In the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Newsletter (June 2015) Huib Pols, Rector Magnificus of Erasmus University Rotterdam, was interviewed about cooperation between the three Leiden-Delft-Erasmus universities in the field of education. 'By working together, we can offer our students high-quality, multidisciplinary education' he says. According to Professor Pols, the Centre for Education and Learning can play an important role in this enterprise.
Our education is complementary and so is our development of teaching methods. In our Centre for Education and Learning, education specialists can exchange ideas on educational innovation. I expect this exchange to be useful and result in innovative, validated teaching methods. Methods that enable us to better train our students to be citizens of the 21st century.
