PROF. DR. FRED PAAS - Professsor of Educational Psychology at the Institute of Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Early Start Research Institute at the University of Wollongong in Australia.
Fred Paas holds a Master in Human Movement Science from Maastricht University and a PhD in Instructional Technology from the University of Twente. His research is multidisciplinary, focusing on the design of effective and efficient learning environments. His research has resulted in more than 180 SSCI journal articles, which have generated more than 16,000 citations. In 2010 he was identified as one of the world's most productive authors in the fields of educational psychology and instructional technology. He is Editor in Chief of the journal Educational Psychology Review and editorial board member of several high-impact journal, such as the Journal of Educational Psychology.
