Vivian joined LDE CEL in May 2020 as a PhD Candidate and focuses her research on feedback and assessment in programming education. While loving her first studies in Archaeology, her interest in educational quality and how people learn inspired her to obtain a second degree in Educational Sciences, specializing in (informal) feedback in higher education lectures. During and after her studies, she acquired several years of experience in the field of higher education as a research assistant, policy analyst and data analyst, however, she never lost interest in how people learn new skills and how learning can be facilitated.
Aiming for educational quality, Vivian is excited to contribute to the domain of computational thinking and programming education and uses her broad background to do so.
